Bio and History
Nagimor Farm began in 1982 when Gil and Nancy Chichester received two bred ewes a wedding present. (Gil had grown up on a small dairy/beef farm in Southern Schoharie County. Nancy grew up in Altamont, N.Y. and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill and went on to earn a degree at the University of Connecticut in Animal Science.)
Since 1982, the flock has steadily grown in size and other animals are now raised on the farm as well - chickens, pigs and beef were added to feed the family.
Seeing the problems with the commercial meat supply, it was decided to increase production so that others could enjoy the healthy and flavorful food grown naturally and grown locally.
All animals are pasture raised free of harmful hormones and antibiotics.
